This year, entry to the exhibition is $10 and FREE for exhibiting artists and people volunteering their time on the day/night of the exhibition. The $10 admission fee is to help offset some of the costs involved in putting on the exhibition. It is a small amount to pay for an enjoyable evening which is catered for and has live entertainment.

This year will be the 10th anniversary of the exhibition and we are very excited and have an amazing night planned. The exhibition aims to bigger and better with talented artists from our Footprints community — clients, staff, volunteers, and their family and friends, as well as talented artists from further afield.

It is guaranteed to be a fun-filled night that you won’t want to miss — with amazing artists and a silent auction on the night, raffles, canapes, live entertainment and a bar to purchase drinks!

When: Thursday 8 September from 5pm to 9pm
Where: Lightspace 2 Scanlan Street, Fortitude Valley

By participating in the auction, you will not only be supporting our local artists, 25% from the sale of each piece will go to supporting Footprints … and we need your support, no matter how big or small. Any profits from the night will be used to help support our clients to access housing and live meaningful lives.

Each year, this event provides inclusion, participation and an opportunity for people within the community to come together and enjoy art and culture. The exhibition promotes the creative talents of a diverse range of artists. It provides our clients with an opportunity to showcase and sell their artwork. The experience aims to build our clients self-esteem, confidence and resilience by being involved in a quality community art exhibition setting.

The exhibition will again be held at Lightspace, which is a unique, contemporary and stylish venue across from our Light Street office in Fortitude Valley. ARTIST EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

Footprints would like to invite artists to exhibit and auction their artwork to our 2022 Annual Art Exhibition and Silent Auction.

Artists are welcomed to submit up to five (5) pieces of art for the exhibition. These works of art can be in any form including paintings, photography, sculptures, cross stitching and much more.

For more information and to enter your artwork, please complete the 2022 Expression of Interest (EOI) form and email your interest to events@footprintscommunity.org.au. This year, for artwork that sells, the artists will receive 75% of the proceeds and 25% will be donated to Footprints. Receipts will be available on request for taxation purposes.

The EOI has been extended until close of business on Thursday 18 August.

You will be contacted once all entries have been submitted and reviewed. Artists will need to make sure that all artworks are delivered to Footprints head office at 24 Light Street Fortitude Valley by close of business on Monday 29 August.
